31 year old car in excellent condition.

Launched in 1991, Acura – Honda’s North American division – launched the NSX to rival the Ferrari 348. The Japanese sports car had to be on a par with its rival and, therefore, its features didn’t disappoint and continue to catch the eye today.

In the video you can see below, we found the case of a 1992 Acura NSX Formula Red with 667,000 kilometres on the odometer.

The 31-year-old car is in excellent condition and recently won an award for being one of the most original and well-preserved cars at Science of Speed in Arizona.

The current owner purchased the NSX 17 years ago when it had 112,000 kilometres on it. From the day he bought it until now it has done more than half a million kilometres, which makes an average of 32,000 kilometres per year.

Powered by a 3.0-litre V6 engine with 273 horsepower, Acura has upgraded the NSX’s blocks over time. This one, in particular, accomplishes the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 270 km/h.

Recall that the original NSX was produced until 2005.
