Honda Launches 200 Units of the Honda Elevate SUV in Chennai

Honda recently announced the launch of 200 units of the Honda Elevate SUV in Chennai, following the successful delivery of 100 cars in Hyderabad. The company revealed that it will be delivering the initial units of the Elevate in a series of mega delivery events across the country. The first event took place in Hyderabad, where 100 SUVs were handed over to eagerly awaiting customers.

The Honda Elevate boasts a strong and muscular appearance, exuding power and strength. Its upright stance is accentuated by a vertically-aligned grille with tapered edges, complemented by chrome garnish extending to the upper edges of the headlamp housings. Sleek LED headlamps and fog lamps housed within triangular enclosures on the front bumper add a touch of sophistication. A silver-colored faux skid plate enhances the rugged appeal of the SUV.

The side profile of the Elevate is equally commanding, featuring body cladding over the wheel arches and the bottom of the door panels. Additionally, silver-colored roof rails, chrome-finished rearview mirrors, and 17-inch machined alloy wheels contribute to its overall stylish look.

Moving to the rear, the Honda Elevate maintains its bold design with inverted L-shaped combination tail lamps incorporating LED inserts that stretch towards the gloss black garnish between them. The roof-mounted spoiler, rear wiper, washer, and defogger add functionality, while the black garnish over the rear bumper and silver-colored faux skid plate enhance the rugged aesthetic.

Inside the cabin, the Honda Elevate offers a luxurious experience with its dual-tone black and brown leather upholstery. The interior is equipped with modern elements such as a 7-inch TFT screen in the instrument console, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, and a push start-stop button. To attract new-age customers, the Elevate is packed with features like a single-pane sunroof, wireless charger, LaneWatch camera, and a Level-2 ADAS suite of safety features.

Powering the Honda Elevate is a 1.5-liter four-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT gearbox. The SUV is expected to hit the market in the coming weeks, just before the festive season begins. It will face competition from other midsize SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, MG Astor, and the soon-to-be-launched Citroen C3 Aircross.
