Jeep India has unveiled the Meridian Overland, a special edition of the Jeep Meridian SUV. This luxurious SUV features a range of cosmetic updates that set it apart from the standard edition of the Meridian. While the pricing has not been revealed yet, it is expected to be announced right before the festive season.
As the third special edition iteration of the Jeep Meridian SUV in India, the Meridian Overland follows in the footsteps of the Meridian Upland and Meridian X. Like its predecessors, the Overland variant boasts unique design touches on both the cabin and exterior that enhance its appeal. However, the overall silhouette of the SUV remains the same.
One of the standout features of the Meridian Overland is its tweaked grille, which showcases the iconic seven slat radiator grille that is characteristic of Jeep vehicles. The grille is accompanied by sleek LED projector headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights. Additionally, there are chrome embellishments on the grille and headlamp cluster, while the front bumper features blackened fog lamp housing and chrome bars.
Exterior enhancements continue with variant-specific alloy wheels and body-colored cladding, distinguishing the Meridian Overland from the standard version, which has black cladding. At the rear, the SUV sports a bold look with a thick chrome bar connecting the LED taillights. The sculpted tailgate and body-colored bumper further enhance the masculine appeal, with a skid plate positioned beneath.
Inside the cabin, the Meridian Overland retains the same interior design as the standard Meridian but features a different upholstery. The special edition SUV combines leather and suede with copper trimming and stitching, creating a more premium feel. In terms of features, the Meridian Overland offers a comprehensive range, including a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, and dual-zone climate control.
The distinctiveness of the Meridian Overland extends to its upholstery, which showcases special badging on the seats and other areas of the interior. While the pricing is yet to be announced, the special edition iteration is expected to come at a premium compared to the standard variant of the Meridian SUV.
