New spy pictures have emerged showcasing the exterior styling and cabin layout of the upcoming Mahindra XUV.e8 electric SUV, which is set to be launched in December 2024. The XUV.e8, essentially the electric version of the present XUV700, is expected to feature a three-screen display, with a fully digital driver’s display and a floating touchscreen unit on the centre console. Additionally, there appears to be a third screen on the left side, potentially reserved for the front passenger.
On the exterior, the XUV.e8 retains the overall silhouette of the XUV700 but comes with redesigned front fascia featuring new LED headlamps and a fresh pattern for the alloy wheels. Notably, the tail lamps are expected to be connected by an illuminated light strip.
In terms of technical specifications and dimensions, the XUV.e8 will measure 4,740mm in length with a wheelbase of 2,762mm. It will be powered by an 80kWh battery pack and will offer an all-wheel-drive configuration.
The XUV.e8 is scheduled to launch alongside the XUV700 and will compete with the upcoming Tata Harrier EV, which is also expected to hit the market in 2024. With its sleek design and advanced features, the XUV.e8 promises to be a formidable contender in the electric SUV segment.
