Bollywood actor Taapsee Pannu recently purchased a luxurious Mercedes Maybach GLS SUV on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. This is the second Mercedes model in Pannu’s car collection, as she already owns a Mercedes-Benz GLE.
The Maybach GLS 600 SUV is equipped with a powerful 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 petrol engine, which is paired with a 9G-Tronic automatic gearbox. It also features mild-hybrid technology, with a hybrid powertrain that can generate 550 horsepower and 730 Nm of torque. Additionally, the EQ Boost technology can provide an extra 21 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque.
The Maybach GLS 600 SUV is positioned as the flagship SUV in Mercedes-Benz’s lineup in India. It was initially launched globally in 2019 and made its way to the Indian market in 2021. The SUV boasts a distinctive design, with a striking radiator grille, dual-tone paint theme, and 22-inch standard wheels (with an option for 23-inch wheels). Inside the cabin, the Maybach GLS 600 offers a luxurious experience with Nappa leather upholstery, reclining rear seats, ventilated seats, and a panoramic sunroof. The dashboard features the MBUX system, which includes a large 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment display, a 12.3-inch driver display, and a Burmester surround sound system. The SUV also comes with wireless charging technology and rear occupants can enjoy removable MBUX touch tablets.
One unique feature of the Maybach GLS 600 SUV is a refrigerator located at the rear of the vehicle. This compartment is designed to store champagne bottles and can accommodate at least two bottles. The SUV also includes space for two champagne glasses.
Pannu’s new Maybach GLS 600 SUV comes with a price tag of ₹2.92 crore, making it one of the most expensive cars in India. With its luxurious features and powerful performance, it is sure to turn heads on the roads.
