The highly anticipated Porsche Macan EV has been captured in a fresh set of spy shots, providing a glimpse of the vehicle’s design with minimal camouflage. Set to make its debut in 2024, Porsche is making progress towards the completion of its development.
Examining the front of the vehicle, a tape seam can be observed below the headlights, indicating that there are still some concealed features. The front end follows a split lamps design, with additional illumination located beneath the main headlights. Interestingly, the slats in the lower fascia appear to be active components that can open for improved cooling.
Moving to the sides, no significant camouflaged elements are visible. The Macan EV boasts a sleek, coupe-like silhouette, designed for enhanced aerodynamics. The wheels feature an intricate, asymmetrical design, accentuated by visible red brake calipers.
As for the rear, an active spoiler and a hatchback design can be identified. Furthermore, a ribbed piece can be seen on the bottom section, adding a touch of visual interest.
Although interior details are not discernible in these particular spy shots, previous images provide a glimpse into the Macan EV’s cabin. Notably, it features a curved instrument panel display and a rectangular infotainment screen. Additionally, the HVAC monitor is located separately on the center console.
Underneath the Macan EV lies the Premium Platform Electric underpinnings, which will also be utilized by Audi. The electric powertrain is rumored to offer a maximum output of 603 horsepower and over 738 pound-feet of torque, powered by a 100-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery.
To ensure a comfortable ride, the Macan EV will feature two-valve shock absorbers with the Porsche Active Suspension Management system. Buyers will have the option to select wheels with a diameter of up to 22 inches.
While the official details and specifications are yet to be released, the Porsche Macan EV is slated for a 2024 debut, with sales expected to commence that same year. For a closer look at the upcoming model, a spy video of the Macan EV is available to watch.
