Taapsee Pannu Adds Mercedes-Maybach GLS600 to Her Car Collection

Taapsee Pannu, the popular Bollywood actress known for her roles in movies like Dunki, Thappad, and Badla, has recently added the ultra-luxurious Mercedes-Maybach GLS600 to her car collection. She received the delivery of the new car in a shade of Palladium Silver over the weekend.

The Mercedes-Maybach GLS600 is the first-ever SUV from the Maybach brand and has garnered a lot of attention since its launch in India in 2021. The luxury SUV quickly sold out all 50 allocated units, indicating its high demand among affluent buyers. The base price of the GLS600 is Rs 2.35 crore, ex-showroom, without any customization options.

Taapsee, who already owns a Mercedes-Benz GLE, opted for the Maybach GLS600 for its superior luxury and exclusivity. The vehicle features the iconic Maybach design, highlighted by a massive chrome-dipped grille. It also comes with unique design elements such as chrome inserts on the B-pillar and the Maybach logo on the D-pillar.

The GLS600 offers options for both four and five-seater configurations. The four-seater variant comes with a fixed center console that includes a refrigerator to store champagne bottles and silver champagne flutes. Other luxurious features include Nappa leather upholstery, an electronic panoramic sliding sunroof, ventilated massaging seats, and more.

Under the hood, the Maybach GLS600 is equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 engine coupled with a 48V mild-hybrid system. This powertrain produces a maximum power of 557 PS and 730 Nm of torque, with an additional 22 PS and 250 Nm boost on demand. The power is transmitted to all four wheels via a 9-speed automatic transmission.

In terms of safety, the GLS600 offers a range of advanced features such as Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Active Blind Spot Assist, and more. It also comes with Adaptive High Beam Assist, Adaptive LED tail lamps, 8 airbags, and a 360-degree camera for parking assistance.

Taapsee’s new acquisition, the Mercedes-Maybach GLS600, adds to her impressive car collection and reflects her taste for luxury and elegance on the road.
