Tata Motors has launched the updated Nexon EV, alongside its ICE version, in India. The facelifted electric SUV is available in six variants and comes in seven different color options. Since its official launch, customers across the country have begun receiving their orders.
The Tata Nexon EV is offered in Creative+, Fearless, Fearless+, Fearless+ S, Empowered, and Empowered+ variants. It also comes with two range options: Medium Range and Long Range. The Medium Range variant is equipped with a 30kWh battery pack, while the Long Range variant features a larger 40.5kWh unit.
In terms of power, the Medium Range offers an output of 127bhp and 215Nm of torque, with a range of 325km. Meanwhile, the Long Range has an output of 143bhp and 215Nm of torque, with an extended range of 465km.
The top-spec Empowered+ variant of the Nexon EV facelift comes with several advanced features. It includes a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, automatic climate control, and wireless charging. The interior also features an all-digital instrument cluster with navigation support, ambient lighting, a two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo, and a new gear lever.
Furthermore, the Empowered+ variant is equipped with additional safety features such as an electronic parking brake, 360-degree surround camera, blind spot monitor, ventilated front seats, and six airbags.
