Yinson Holdings Bhd has joined forces with CelcomDigi Bhd in an effort to advance the adoption of clean energy solutions across Malaysia. Through this collaboration, Yinson aims to promote the use of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, e-bikes, and solar infrastructure integration.
The partnership will allow Yinson to tap into CelcomDigi’s 4G LTE and 5G network, improving connectivity for chargEV, the largest charging station operator in the country. This enhancement will provide a better user experience for EV owners.
CelcomDigi CEO Datuk Idham Nawawi stated that the alliance with Yinson aims to encourage the adoption of green technologies among Malaysian consumers. This support aligns with the country’s energy goals outlined in the New Industrial Master Plan 2030. The automotive industry is undergoing significant transformation, and the next five years will be characterized by advancements in EVs and green technology in general. The collaboration will explore opportunities to enable connected assets and develop a robust and integrated infrastructure ecosystem.
